Greetings!

As we prepare for the 2024-2025 school year, I wanted to share with you all that I am ecstatic to be a member of the Wildcat Family!  I have formerly served in various roles ranging from AIG Facilitator, Instructional Coach and Assistant Principal.  Working with ECPPS for the past thirteen years has been a joy!  In my 20+ years of service to students and families, I have had the pleasure of being selected as Teacher of the Year three times.  I was also honored as a District Finalist for Teacher of the Year.

I am a graduate of East Carolina University, both undergraduate as well as Elizabeth City State University.  During my tenure at Central Elementary, it is my plan to build a strong school community where students are educated to be successful citizens in our community.  We will accomplish that by collecting and analyzing data, supporting the implementation of high yielding strategies that have proven effective, and supporting parents, community members, staff and students. 

I am excited to lead this team and work collaboratively to ensure that this school year is as successful and smooth as possible for everyone!
