Greetings Wildcat Family,

As we begin the 2025-2026 school year, I am honored to continue serving as Principal of Central Elementary! Over the past 15+ years with ECPPS, I have had the privilege of working in many roles including AIG Facilitator, Instructional Coach, and Assistant Principal. With more than 20 years in education, I remain deeply committed to serving students and families, and I am grateful for the opportunity to lead our Wildcat community.

I hold degrees from East Carolina University, both undergraduate and graduate, as well as Elizabeth City State University. My experiences, along with being honored as Teacher of the Year three times and a District Finalist, continue to inspire my passion for helping students achieve their very best.

At Central Elementary, our goal is to build a strong school community where every student is equipped to succeed. We will achieve this by analyzing data, using high-yield instructional strategies, and fostering partnerships with parents, staff, and community members.

I look forward to another successful year of learning, achievement, and Wildcat pride as we work together to ensure every student thrives.
